A Message to Our Community As part of our ongoing commitment to transparency and partnership, we wish to inform you of some important changes within the Radion Health leadership team. Effective April 11, Adam Hawf will be stepping down from his role as CEO. Adam's visionary leadership has been a driving force behind Radion's growth and our mission to make premium health insurance affordable for small businesses and working families. We extend our deepest gratitude to Adam for his dedication and impactful contributions. We are pleased to announce that Stephen Rosenthal, a founding member and former CEO of Radion, will assume the role of CEO on an interim basis. Stephen's in-depth understanding of our company's history and his commitment to our mission ensure we remain focused on our goals during this transition. Thank you to everyone who referred candidates for our paid internship program at Radion Health. I'm thrilled to report that we had over 80 candidates and have over two dozen strong candidates in our interview process currently and I'm excited to see who ends up joining this summer. Potential interns: you've got huge shoes to fill thanks to folks like Isaac Anderson, Seth Bangser, Wesley Allen, Ella Aluise, Amelia Aluise, and Brenten Nielsen. Kudos to Emmy German, Shoshana Bochner, Jourdan McSweeney, MBA, and Emily Hartnett for running such a great program.

TLDR: The future is increasingly bright for self funded employers in Houston thanks to savvy, committed folks like the teams at First Primary Care & Mid-Continent Companies, Ltd. There are few things I find more inspiring than spending a day planning with people who believe what we believe at Radion Health: - That working families deserve better than status quo health insurance - That change is possible - That is our collective responsibility to inspire employers to make the change so they can take better care of their employees. Progress is possible. HAWTHORNE SCHOOL DISTRICT and Venice Family Clinic are collaborating to launch an on-site clinic as part of a broader effort to provide free care to the district's students (and - potentially - their families). Why are they doing this? - Strategy: to reduce absenteeism by increasing access to medical care - Values: to take care of their students/families because that's what it looks like for a school district to put the customer first. Kudos to you Dr. Brian Markarian! I don't know you but you've inspired me today. Bummer you don't appear to be on LinkedIn... ;)

Problem: 47% of insured Americans struggle to afford their health care costs.* Solution: Locally driven health plans that make awesome health insurance affordable. Healthcare affordability is a national problem and threat to our country. But I don't believe it will ever be solved in a top-down way. In my opinion, the best solution for most communities is a locally driven partnership between providers, employers, and stop loss carriers. We at Radion Health, Inc. have been very fortunate to partner with some amazing TPAs, advisors, and program managers to support local health plans in a number of cities - but not nearly enough cities to change our country. We are actively seeking prospective partners for Charlotte, Columbus, Dallas, Detroit, Memphis, Richmond, Tulsa, and Wichita. If you have local roots and a vision for change, we would love to support you in launching a home town health plan by serving as your stop loss carrier and a partner in program design. I had never heard of Next Level Medical until tonight and I’m inspired. We need you in New Orleans, Juliet! Radion Health, Inc. is eagerly seeking provider-entrepreneurs like Juliet who are looking to expand their impact and make great healthcare affordable for folks in their communities. Kudos to Heath Potter and the 6 Degrees Health Dx crew for continuing to put out great fireside chat content. I loved this month's session with Dave Chase, Health Rosetta-discovering archaeologist of Health Rosetta. This webinar (*link to YouTube video of webcast below and in comments*) is a great use of 60 minutes for those interested in learning more about how we can save American families from rising healthcare costs. I particularly enjoyed Dave's admonition for folks involved in the industry to "eat their own cooking" with the healthcare plans they offer to their own families and employees. I'm proud to say that we at Radion Health, Inc. are four months into our maiden voyage with reference based pricing through 6 Degrees Health Dx and BeniComp Health Solutions. I didn't love getting the wakeup of my BeniComp Health Solutions health screening but I needed it - and I am excited to figure out the best way for us to offer direct primary care in the future.
