    What role does technology play in unleashing Customer Experience excellence?    That was one of the questions discussed by over 10,000 people at the X4 – Experience Management Summit conference in Salt Lake City as a main topic of the conference. We as Porsche have been part of this dialogue during the conference. Additionally, we used the the opportunity to showcase the new all-electric Macan to the audience, which was great.     These have been my personal highlights:    Our strategic shift from solely measuring Customer Satisfaction to also gauging Customer Excitement, and how we implement this within our CRM ecosystem, sparked enlightening discussions. Many brands are embracing this shift, leading to valuable exchanges, particularly because factors that drive satisfaction don't always align with the factors that drive excitement    Every Touchpoint Counts: A key element of our Marketing Strategy is "Being obsessed with every customer touchpoint." But how do we bring this ethos to life? This question ignited lively discussions on practical implementation, measuring outcomes, and fostering cross-departmental and cross-market synergies.    Cultivating partnerships: “A key success factor of any business partnership is that you really want your partner to win. This means you have to understand his goals, business needs and have to spend time thinking about them.” – This quote has been a great take away from the interview between Ed Bastian (CEO Delta) and Steve Squeri (CEO American Express), showcasing their longstanding partnership.    The Power of Listening: “Even if you know the answer, the act of listening is important.” – an amazing mantra that needs no further explanation from Chris Nassetta (CEO of Hilton Worldwide)    Embracing Legacy, Fostering Innovation: Exploring the fusion of tradition and innovation, exemplified by the new Macan, was a captivating topic of discussion. By embracing Porsche's legacy in design, performance, and emotion with our newest electric addition to the Porsche family, we ignited curiosity among attendees.    To Zig Serafin, Thank you for the invitation, and congratulations on a truly remarkable summit.     More than 850 X4 attendees joined us on Day 3 for Basecamp, a half day of specially curated enablement and development sessions. Attendees engaged in hands-on learning for everything from theory to in-platform applications of XM!
