About us
Performance.gov is a window into Federal agencies’ efforts to deliver a smarter, leaner, and more effective government. The site provides the public, agencies, members of Congress, and the media a view into the progress underway to cut waste, streamline government, and improve performance. Performance.gov allows the public to learn more about the President’s Management Agenda (PMA), the Federal performance management framework, and the Federal goal-setting process for driving progress in key management areas and priorities. Performance.gov communicates the goals, objectives, and strategic plans the Federal Government is working to accomplish. All cabinet departments and nine major agencies have agency pages on Performance.gov. to provide an overview of the agency, its mission, priority goals to be achieved, and links to strategic and performance plans and reports. We invite you to use Performance.gov to discover how government is working for the American public! Learn more at www.performance.gov.

Forms should be easy to fill out, especially when applying for federal benefits. That’s where Kyle G. comes in! Partnering with the Social Security Administration, Kyle transformed the disability recertification process by taking it online for the first time and clarifying the questions. Now, users can complete the form more quickly and with less stress. Thank you for your invaluable service, Kyle! #FedFeatureFriday

Thank you Amira Choueiki Boland for your contributions in transforming government to better serve everyone and building trust with the American public. We couldn't do this work without your dedication and intentional focus on service delivery and customer experience. We will miss you!
Last week was Amira Choueiki Boland's last day in government as she moves to the New Practice Lab at New America. She talked with me about how she got into this work (researching recruitment to terrorist orgs), the biggest challenges to efforts to improving government services (fixing incentive systems in govt), what she wants from Congress (making CX an OMB and agency responsibility) and more. "You’ve got to prove democracy works," she told me. https://lnkd.in/eD2S2RD7

Today we celebrate freedom, liberation and progress. #Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, when freedom reached the last enslaved people in Galveston, TX, and across the U.S.

Since launching APN, the program has served 200+ families across the United States in Tribal, urban, and rural areas with 81% of families reporting their APN made it easier for them to get access to resources. This program was designed by the United States Digital Service and the #GovCX team at the Office of Management and Budget in partnership with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSAgov), HHS and six community based.
