(PSE), a leader in scientifically-based design for improved human performance in complex systems, is excited to announce the appointment of Dr. Maia Cook as our Chief Executive Officer and President. Maia joined PSE in 2005 after earning her PhD in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine’s Department of Cognitive Science. As a leading expert in human factors, applied cognitive science, and human-autonomy integration, Maia has played a pivotal role in PSE’s success and growth over the past 18 years, most recently serving as PSE’s Director of Human-Autonomy Integration and our Chief Scientist. As PSE’s CEO and President, Maia will leverage her deep understanding of PSE’s business, customers, and end-user communities to lead PSE into our next chapter of growth supporting cutting-edge, human-integrated technology solutions for users in high-consequence domains. After serving as PSE’s Interim Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ron Moore will return to his primary roles of Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President. Maia and Ron, in partnership with PSE’s Chief Financial Officer Mr. Tim Sweeney, will continue PSE’s tradition of shared leadership while also guiding our company to exciting new opportunities.
