Over the last 12 months, the Bulgarian Border Police (BBP) have investigated 31 cases of human trafficking and assisted numerous individuals using technical equipment and vehicles that were donated by OUR Rescue. So far, 14 of the cases have been presented for prosecution, while investigations are ongoing in nine others. “We are extremely grateful for the aid received by OUR Rescue,” Director of Border Police, Chief Commissioner Anton Zlatanov said. “We are actively using the donated equipment which is allowing us to improve our capabilities to investigate human trafficking.” OUR Rescue is proud to work closely with the BBP and other government authorities in Europe and around the globe. Through strong relationships, we are making a sizable impact in the fight against human trafficking.

Today, and every day, we remember the brave individuals who never came home.

Today is both National and International Missing Children's Day. Of the more than 28,800 missing children in the United States reported to the NCMEC in 2023, 1 in 6 were likely victims of child sex trafficking. This day is dedicated to encouraging parents, guardians, caregivers, and others concerned with the well-being of children to make child safety a priority.
