On Women's Veterans Day, I reflect with both humility and pride on my 24 years in uniform, serving our great nation. The honor of wearing the uniform and the lessons learned from my service have profoundly shaped my journey. Today, I extend my deepest gratitude to my fellow female veterans here at Noble and across our network of partners, manufacturers, vendors, and customers. Your dedication and sacrifices, both past and present, inspire us all. From the Revolutionary War to today's complex global missions, women have stood resolutely, contributing to the readiness, resilience, and effectiveness of our armed forces. Throughout history, women have excelled in diverse military specialties. During the American Revolution, women made significant contributions to the war effort, often behind the scenes. One notable example is Margaret Corbin, who fought alongside her husband in the Battle of Fort Washington in 1776. When her husband was killed during the battle, Margaret took his place at the cannon, continuing to fire upon the British troops until she was severely wounded. From the heroic actions of Civil War nurses like Clara Barton to the trailblazing service of Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASPs) in World War II, and the modern-day leadership of women in combat roles such as Army Rangers and Navy SEALs, their courage and commitment have left an indelible mark on the annals of American warfare.
