Impact Through Geospatial
About us
At NGIS, we believe the power of mapping should be made available to anyone in a business. Maps are embedded in your personal life – why are they not part of your business life? Everything NGIS does has something to do with a map: we advise clients on spatial technology, consult in GIS services, build custom applications, train our clients technically and sell licences for the industry's best technology. As a full service consultancy we can help you set a path, build capacity or create a tool that enables data driven decision making. Our philosophy – People Partnership Success – reflects the way we approach our business. The expertise of our people, the long-term client relationships we form, the active participation within our industry and the strategic partnerships we have created over almost 20 years, demonstrates that we invest in relationships. We know that understanding your business underpins the success of every project we undertake.

Our friends at Winyama held a morning tea this morning to mark National Reconciliation Week. It was a great morning spent reflecting on and discussing what Reconciliation means to us. National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements and explore how we can contribute to Reconciliation in Australia. #NRW2024 #ReconciliationWeek

Isabelle Lay and Nathan Eaton will be representing NGIS at the Sustainable Palm Oil Dialogue (SPOD) in Brussels as part of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) delegation. 🌿 This year, SPOD 2024 will focus on how innovative voluntary and mandatory initiatives can help reduce emissions in the palm oil supply chain. With the agriculture, forestry, and other land uses sectors contributing 13-21% of global emissions, it's crucial to address this issue through sustainable production and supply chains. NGIS is proud to support this cause through our partnership with RSPO and the use of our sustainable sourcing and traceability platform TraceMark, which will provide EUDR compliance and risk assessment to RSPO's new certification, trade, and traceability system - Prisma. 🌎 🔗Learn more about our involvement with RSPO with our latest blog post: https://bit.ly/44NsFhP #SustainablePalmOil #TraceMark #SPOD2024
