Coinciding with the 20th anniversary of President Ronald Reagan’s passing, NewsNation will present “Reagan: Portrait of a Presidency,” an original documentary on Saturday, June 8.   The special, narrated by Dean Cain, features President Reagan’s close associates reflecting on their time with the commander-in-chief, some of his most iconic moments in the 1980s, a tour of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, and rare anecdotes and analysis from one of Reagan’s former press secretaries.   Following the documentary, NewsNation’s senior political contributor George Will and chief Washington anchor Leland Vittert will co-host, “Reagan: The Post Show” at 10:30 p.m. EST.   Tune in to “Reagan: Portrait of a Presidency” Saturday, June 8 at 9 p.m. EST on NewsNation.

To commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day, Nexstar's owned and partner television stations will air “D-Day: The Greatest Victory.” Produced by Nexstar Broadcasting in association with WAVY-TV 10 in Norfolk, VA, the exclusive program will air in 117 markets across the U.S this week. NewsNation will also air the program on Sunday, June 9, at 10 p.m. ET. The actual D-Day landing occurred on June 6, 1944, and was the largest air, land, and naval operation in wartime history, when Allied troops landed on the coast of Normandy, France, to liberate Europe from the Nazis. https://lnkd.in/gXWW6tJC

Nexstar is happy to announce that 25 of its owned and operated television stations have earned a total of 35 regional Edward R. Murrow Awards from the Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA).
