Do you set goals that feel exciting at first but later become overwhelming? You’re not alone! Here’s why this happens and how to manage it: 🌀 Breaking the Cycle of Unrealistic Goals: 🌟 Start Practicing: Say, "This sounds exciting! Let me check my schedule and get back to you." 🗓 Sleep on It: For personal commitments, say, "Let me check our family calendar and I'll let you know tomorrow." 💭 Gut Check: Ask yourself, "How will I feel about this next week? Will I still be excited?" If not, it’s okay to say no. 📅 Limit Extra Projects: Only take on one extra project at a time and share this plan with your team or family for accountability. 👉 Join our ADHD Group Coaching Program today and get the support you need! https://lnkd.in/eaPdQEiP #ADHDCoaching #ADHD #adhdwomen #ADHDAtWork

ITC Holdings Corp. is a company that continues to impress when it comes to its inclusion efforts, especially neuro-inclusive practices. They worked with Neuro-osity last year to bring recorded learning on Neurodiversity in the Workplace for all employees. This year, they're making their Leadership Summit more inclusive, with fidget options and a comprehensive agenda to help employees with additional sensory and dietary needs prepare accordingly. Way to go, ITC, keep leading the way!

I know #ADHD doesn't always feel awesome, but this book does a great job of highlighting both the challenges and benefits.

As a Dyslexic ADHDer, I couldn't wait to get my hands on this audiobook, and it has exceeded expectations! I have laughed out loud numerous times! The way they set it up is perfect for the ADHD brain. Kudos to Penn and Kim (The Holderness Family) for knocking it out of the park. Less than an hour into the book, I found myself driving to the bookstore (typical impulsive move, right?!) to buy a physical copy so I could take notes as I went along! PS: I know I've far exceeded my "!"'s for this post, but that's how we show excitement, right? #adhdisawesome #adhd

"If you have met one Autistic person, you have met one Autistic person." Autistic or not, we all bring a unique skill set to the workplace. I'm so proud of Justin for his bravery in sharing his first-hand perspective of the gifts and strengths he brings to the organizations he serves in such an authentic way. From the first time I started working with Justin, it was clear to see: ❤️ His passion for creating financial models to help businesses make better decisions. 🔍 His ability to identify patterns others didn't see within financial reports. 📈 His dedication to ensuring business leaders had all the correct information to make the best business decision possible. We hope this video promotes Autism acceptance within the workplace and encourages leaders to create a culture where all brains can thrive authentically. And if you need help creating that culture, let's chat! https://lnkd.in/eEtcyv4f

Last week SSOE Group partnered with Neuro-osity to host virtual lunch and learn sessions on Understanding Neurodiversity. Both sessions were eager to learn, and the participants asked insightful questions about how they could best support their co-workers in the workplace, which was encouraging. Cheers to another great company investing in its people and celebrating different ways of thinking within its organization. 🎉
