NBC Sports’ finance leaders Jason Cuthbertson (3rd from left) and Samita Mannapperuma (left) recently presented Special Olympics with a check representing more than $100,000 raised for the organization through NBC Sports Next’s Better Together community impact initiative. Through generous contributions from golfers who booked tee times throughout March on the GolfNow or TeeOff websites or apps and chose to “Round-Up,” the funds collected will contribute to the ongoing efforts of America’s largest sports organization for people with intellectual disabilities. On hand with several Special Olympics athletes to receive the check were Special Olympics CEO Mike Mason (right) and Senior Director of Corporate Partnerships Sharon Rozum. #BetterTogether #NBCUHereYouCan
