June is Men's Health Month, a time to remind men of the health issues they face and what they can do to take charge of their health. When it comes to men’s health (and everyone’s health), sleep is a critical component. 👍 🙋♂️Unfortunately, about 20% of men say they wake up rested only once a week (or less). 👎🤦♂️ Almost 25% of men say they have difficulty falling asleep 4 or more days per week. Let’s work to change that! The National Sleep Foundation is dedicated to helping everyone be their Best Slept Self®. 🧑💻 Head over to our website to learn more and check out our resources: https://bit.ly/3ViaL48 #BestSleptSelf #MensHealth #MensHealthMonth

☀️💡 Light has a powerful impact on your sleep. Not getting enough light exposure during the day, or getting bright light exposure at night can disrupt your circadian rhythm. Good news is that a few small changes to your exposure to light can help you feel more alert during the day and make it easier to fall asleep at night. 🆒 Learn more about circadian rhythms: https://lnkd.in/dCaVrgR

Technology is a great tool to help keep us informed, connected and entertained. These days, it sometimes feels like we have an electronic device permanently attached to our bodies given how often we spend time scrolling, searching, watching, playing, and posting. 📱💻 Unfortunately, there can be unwanted effects of electronic use: screentime, especially at night, can disrupt sleep in kids and teens. We convened an expert group of researchers to develop a consensus guideline for screen use and sleep. Scroll through these slides and then read the guideline to learn more: https://bit.ly/4e1dYfm
