Today, ST Engineering MRAS held our kick-off event for the annual ST Engineering MOVEment challenge! MOVEment is a 5-week long workout challenge that promotes staying healthy, keeping fit and doing good through walking, running, and cycling, uniting employees across our global network into one cohesive community. For every one mile our employees walk or run, or for every three miles they bike, ST Engineering will donate $1 to this year’s charitable partners! We are proud to partner with Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and Wounded Warrior Project for this year’s movement event. ST Engineering MRAS are Supporting the Boeing 787 Dreamliner Fleet We’re proud to partner with industry leaders like Boeing to keep their aircraft flying efficiently. Right now, our MRO workshop is busy supporting two Boeing 787 Dreamliner inlets for customers. • One inlet is undergoing a Lipskin segment replacement to ensure the continued aerodynamic performance and structural integrity of the inlet. • The second inlet is receiving specialised attention to address corrosion. Early detection and treatment of corrosion is essential for maintaining the safety and longevity of aircraft. Our team of highly skilled technicians and engineers have the expertise and resources to handle complex projects like these. Last week, we welcomed the Office of Naval Research and the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) to ST Engineering MRAS. Our guests ventured on a tour of our 1.4 million square ft. Baltimore facility, where they learned about our comprehensive aerostructure capabilities including advanced composites, ingenious automation and innovative maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO). MRAS has a storied history of supporting our warfighters and we look forward to being of service. Sizzling Summer Kickoff at ST Engineering MRAS. Earlier this week, we celebrated National Hamburger Day with a delicious cookout on our beautiful campus! Our employees enjoyed complimentary burgers, soaked up the sunshine, and received fun sun-smart giveaways. We also had our Medical team on-site providing valuable information about skin cancer awareness and staying safe in the summer heat.
