Alice Hoffman launched Pink Pages: An Evening with Alice Hoffman and Your Favorite Authors, as a way to say thank you to Mount Auburn Hospital for the life-altering care she received as a patient. Over the years, Pink Pages has brought together more than 70 authors and raised more than $3 million to support the Hoffman Breast Center. This year’s event will be held in-person at the American Repertory Theater on Monday, June 24th. A virtual recording post event is also available for those who cannot attend in person. Meet Vahe Sargsyan, a Cath/EP Lab Technologist and Cardiac Sonographer at Mount Auburn Hospital and the latest honoree of our Behind the Badge series! Vahe was a cardiologist/electrophysiologist and member of European Heart Rhythm Association in Armenia. Vahe now works in our Saal Family Cardiovascular Center and loves working with our patients. Vahe was born in Armenia, a small country in the Caucasus. Armenia is a home to many famous faces and innovators including Cher, philanthropist Noubar Afeyan, Raymond Damadian, the inventor of MRI machine, and many more. Outside of nursing, Vahe is a husband and father to two children. He is currently supporting his wife, who is attending school to be a Respiratory Therapist, and travels for his son's swimming competitions! 🏊 Join us in congratulating Vahe — thank you for all you do! 🌟👏 #BehindTheBadge #AAPIMonth

Meet Marie Raymond, MSN, a Registered Nurse and Nurse Educator at Mount Auburn Hospital and the latest honoree of our Behind the Badge series! Marie, a strong communicator and educator, facilitates different classes and trainings not limited to nursing but also with clinical and ancillary staff! Marie is a key part in integrating our mission in our care. Marie comes from a family with a strong nursing and medical background, with both her father and brother being nurses as well. Immigrating from the Philippines, she believes that education is an investment that no one can ever take away. Outside of nursing, she is a wife and mother to three boys and enjoys cooking social media recipes with them. 🥘 Join us in congratulating Marie — thank you for all you do! 🌟👏
