  • Our hearts are heavy with the news of the tragic death of Officer Haas at New Hampshire hospital Friday afternoon. We extend our sincere sympathy to his family and friends, knowing that their grief will not pass anytime soon. We also extend our gratitude to the public safety professionals who responded so quickly to assist everyone involved. Our thoughts of support go to our colleagues at the hospital, knowing how compassionate they are to the many patients in their care each day. Help is available 24/7. If you or someone you know are experiencing a mental health emergency, contact 988 anytime day or night for immediate assistance. If you are in New Hampshire but do not have a 603 area code, contacting the current rapid response line at 833-710-6477 is still the best option to get connected quickly to local crisis support.

  • On Wednesday, at our Annual Meeting, we unveiled our new logo! As MFS looks brightly onto the horizon of advancement, program innovation, and a new space in Keene, it seemed like a fitting time to make sure that our logo spoke to the mission and services of MFS. During the Spring 2023 semester, MFS CEO Phil Wyzik reached out to a Keene State College graphic design class for help with a logo redesign. After expressing the needs of our organization, what we do, and how we would like to communicate who we are, students submitted logo proposals back to Phil, and one became our new logo. We hope that this new symbol of MFS will amplify who we are as a community mental health center and that our new tagline, “Mental Healthcare – Better Together” showcases our commitment to providing and advancing mental health, hope, and healing, in the Monadnock region, with you- our community.

  • "If we are ever going to reverse these ominous trends, it will take all of us to take steps to improve our own mental health for ourselves and our loved ones. It will take communities to be places of welcome, support and positive relationships. It will take businesses and industry to be mindful of the full scope of the health of each person involved in their enterprise." -Phil Wyzik, MFS CEO Read our CEO's latest op-ed on the need to address mental health with a public health approach.
