𝐈𝐓'𝐒 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐄𝐒 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐓𝐎𝐃𝐀𝐘! We celebrate all Reservists in industry and their supportive families, including our very own Jonny Ball who first joined in 1996! His service has seen him complete operational tours of Northern Ireland and Afghanistan, as well as receiving his Voluntary Reserve Service Medal in recognition to his long service and good conduct. Jonny was also the only Reservist in Team UK in last year's Invictus with The Invictus Games Foundation ! 🫡𝐄𝐗𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐑 𝐍𝐇𝐒 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐈𝐍 𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐓𝐎𝐍 𝐊𝐄𝐘𝐍𝐄𝐒 (👀WATCH with Subtitles) ✅It was a pleasure to be invited to the celebration of all things Armed Forces community in Milton Keynes, kindly hosted by MK University Hospital, a Gold ERS holder and exemplar employer. 💪There's a strong community in MK, led by long-serving Reservist Johanna 'JJ' Hrycak who has featured in a previous Mission Community Gathering post. Her work demonstrates the power of community, and you can meet her at the National Transition Event at Silverstone year on year, where she showcases the exemplar work of Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Milton Keynes City Council too, with whom she also works. We salute both organisations for your impact. Great to see Defence Relationship Management (DRM) there on hand to advise on all things Armed Forces Covenant and the ERS. 👉For more info on MK's work see here: https://lnkd.in/dz2QidBY #CommunityOfCommunities #SaluteOurForces #AFW24

It's Armed Forces Week. Time to come together as a nation to celebrate our armed forces and the wider military community. Army, Royal Navy, Royal Airforce, Royal Marines, Reservists, Cadet Forces and the military families, all make huge sacrifices and work tirelessly so that we can live the way that we choose to live in this wonderful country. If you're out and about and see someone in uniform, or if you know someone who serves or who has served, throw up a kipper and give them a salute on behalf of us and Great Britain! #ArmedForcesWeek2024
