MedReview supports payment integrity with the formation of the NYSCHRO Medical Coding Scholarship Fund. Through this fund, we will provide support to approximately 20 exceptional students embarking on their educational journey at @CUNY School of Professional Studies in Fall 2024. These students, selected based on academic excellence and a demonstrated passion for medical coding auditing, will receive invaluable assistance to pursue their dreams in achieving the Certificate in Medical Coding. This unique, credit-bearing certificate program at CUNY SPS thoroughly prepares graduates for the @AHIMA’s Certified Coding Associate credential, an entry level credential for those working in the industry. With additional hands-on experience, students could evolve to qualify for the Certified Coding Specialist credential.
