Heartwarming (and cooling!) story about the many benefits of the ground-source neighborhood-wide heating and cooling system pilot by Isabella O'Malley, M.Env.Sc. from AP News. We love to hear about MA communities joining the #cleanenergytransition to help us become #netzeroby2050, and Framingham is a prime example of that! Enjoy the article here: https://lnkd.in/eFwtVi5g

Building connections between #entreprenuers, #investors, #academics, and #government is one of the things we do best here at MassCEC. That’s why we’re bringing a new center to #NewBedfordMA, one of the country’s most historic maritime cities, to spur innovation in the ocean-based renewable energy sector. MassCEC Managing Director of #OffshoreWind Bruce K. Carlisle spoke about our plans w/ Jennette Barnes at CAI NPR. Listen now 🎙

New grant funding opportunity for #nonprofits from the City of Boston! The Building Emissions Reduction and Disclosure Ordinance (#BERDO) has launched the Equitable Emissions Investment Fund, which supports eligible nonprofits on their #cleanenergytransition by funding projects that reduce and mitigate building emissions. Projects that serve #EnvironmentalJustice Populations and populations that are disproportionately affected by air pollution will be prioritized. The BERDO Review Board will award up to $750,000 with a preference to make multiple awards of about $250,000 each, so explore the opportunity below and feel free to spread the word to your network of nonprofits! Applications are due by 5pm on July 12th. Best of luck to those who apply! https://lnkd.in/eHPWy3_N #netzeroby2050 #decarbonization
