OpenAI says it has begun training a new flagship AI model The advanced AI system would succeed GPT-4, which powers ChatGPT. The company has also created a new safety committee to address AI’s risks. OpenAI, which is one of the world’s leading AI companies, said in a blog post that it expected the new model to bring “the next level of capabilities” as it strove to build “artificial general intelligence,” or AGI, a machine that can do anything the human brain can do. Meta, Coinbase, Match Group among tech companies banding together to fight online fraud. Tech companies across social media, dating apps, financial institutions and crypto have announced a new coalition Tech Against Scams to help combat the rising cases of online fraud. The coalition includes companies such as Coinbase, Match Group, the parent company of Tinder and Hinge, Meta, Kraken, Ripple and Gemini, as well as the Global Anti-Scam Organization.
