This article from 2021 in De Vliegende Hollander — "Battle Lab as a Virtual Playground" — articulates (in Dutch!) the benefits of simulation in training and battle preparedness for today's forces ➡ https://lnkd.in/dpU9tABq To encapsulate the spirit of the article, and if Dutch isn’t in your lexicon, we've translated a few quotes from the article by Lieutenant Colonel Peter van Onzenoort, Modeling and Simulation Coordinator at the CABL in 2021, about the value of simulation in battle readiness: ⭐ "Simulation has been used for education and training for years.
