Building a Team of Harm Reduction Ambassadors! At La Familia, we believe in empowering our team to make a difference in the community, and that's exactly what our recent training session was all about! We're thrilled to share some snapshots where our dedicated staff stepped up to become Harm Reduction Ambassadors. These incredible individuals are now equipped with the knowledge and skills to recognize the signs of an overdose and administer life-saving Narcan when needed. In a world where every second counts, having a team of trained responders can truly make a life-saving difference. We're proud to be proactive in our approach to health and safety, not only within our organization but also within the broader community. Special thanks to HEPPAC for leading an informative and engaging session. Together, we can make a difference! 💙 #HarmReduction #NarcanTraining #CommunitySafety #Teamwork #HealthAndSafety

We're so happy to have had a presence in Washington, D.C. at the National Community Reinvestment Coalition - NCRC's Just Economy Conference through our Chief Strategy Officer, Jennifer Ellis. 🙌 The conference shined in showing how we all can become better and more effective partners throughout our communities to show up and be the best guides and resources we can for our beautiful and vibrant neighborhoods. 💚 There is no lone intervention or group that can undo years and even decades of disinvestment. It truly takes all of us as advocates and champions of our community based initiatives to make an impactful change. Thank you, Jenn, for showing up sharing your love and advocacy for the unincorporated Alameda County, South Hayward, Fruitvale, and Contra Costa County! 🙏 #JustEconomy
