We are thankful here at LittleStar to be led by the devoted and determined Board of Directors and Executive Team, who combined have nearly 60 years of supporting our organization and mission. As a leading ABA center in Indiana, our patients are at the core of everything we do, and our team is focused on providing all staff, from our clinical team to our administrative team with the tools they need to live our mission: “To inspire, serve, and guide all those touched by autism to achieve a better reality.”

At LittleStar we have an incredible team. They are dedicated to our patients and also active in their communities. Yesterday, thanks to the Civic Theater of Greater Lafayette and Kyle Brown, patients at our West Lafayette center were treated to a sensory friendly showing of their youth show "Footloose". Not only was it a lot of fun, the performers did an amazing job! Kyle said it best, "My two homes, LittleStar ABA Therapy and Civic Youth Theatre (Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette), joined together today to absolutely do something special. I’ve wanted sensory friendly shows for years now and Civic did that for the kids I work with. Theatre matters. Disabilities shouldn’t exclude someone from enjoying what we all enjoy. The kids matter to me on both edges of that stage." Thank you Kyle and the Civic Theatre for giving us this wonderful memory.

LittleStar is excited to welcome Katie Bourgerie, M.S., CCC-SLP, to our Carmel center.   Katie is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist with multiple years of experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental delays. Katie has joined the LittleStar team to offer speech and language therapy services as we strive towards an interdisciplinary approach.    Katie received her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science in Communicative Disorders from the University of Alabama. Her passion is working with patients with autism, and she has experience with in-home, school and outpatient clinical settings. Her clinical interests include alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) with training in LAMP, and early childhood language. She previously worked with interdisciplinary teams including ABA, OT and PT.    Katie enjoys working closely with families to help find successful ways to increase communication.
