Imagine, A Center for Coping with Loss is one of 11 grief-centered organizations nationwide selected to participate in our 2024 Childhood Bereavement Changemaker program to build capacity for data collection and program evaluation through a series of trainings, workshops, and collaborative learning sessions. This two day event event aims to serve as a Professional Development workshop while also providing essential community resources for families experiencing grief. Grieve Gracefully is intended to be a space where community voices unite to establish culturally responsive approaches to grief and mental health and for families to find support. Spring Mills Primary’s participation in the New York Life Foundation’s Grief- Sensitive Schools Initiative is a great example of how educational institutions and communities can actively participate in creating a more grief-aware society.
