Our Building Sciences group recently wrapped up a comprehensive 3-week hazardous materials survey for select buildings at the historic former Lincoln Pulp & Tissue Mill in Lincoln, ME. The scope of work was to assess asbestos, lead, PCBs, mold and universal wastes in anticipation of demolition of the structures. The mill, slated to be demolished, will make way for a cutting-edge biofuels refinery.
