Using an analytic and objective approach, we’ve discovered hundreds of talented authors around the world with over 50% of our published authors achieving $100,000+ in sales. We have forever changed the traditional publishing model by inventing an algorithm which analyzes users' reading behavior to identify hits, in turn removing subjectivity from the equation. This gives Inkitt the unique ability to discover hidden talents that might otherwise have gone unnoticed. Hits that are identified by our algorithm, are then licensed to and distributed on our Galatea app where we systematically generate blockbusters by A/B testing the content of our stories. This process is our own unique creation, and something which has never before been done in the entertainment industry. At present, we are an international team of 85 passionate and dedicated inventors and entrepreneurs and we are growing quickly. We are proud that our mission has persuaded early investors in Google and Spotify to back us, as well as attracted talents from Netflix, Activision Blizzard, DeliveryHero, Babbel, and N26 to join us. Today marks Inkitt’s 11th anniversary and 11 incredible years of building the most data and AI-driven company in the #entertainment industry. 🎉 Inkitt’s journey began in 2013 in my Berlin dorm room as a tiny hobby project. When I wrote that first line of code, I never expected it to set me on a path where I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside so many amazing people, building a life-changing platform. Since then, we’ve become the 13th most-hit-creating publisher in the world, and created the 32nd most-selling book in the world (just a few places behind Barack Obama’s memoir “A Promised Land”). We invented a process of using #data and #AI to identify the best books on Inkitt and further optimize the storylines to turn every story we publish into a blockbuster. 1 in 5 books we touch becomes a bestseller; this is 20x higher than other publishers. As a result, 150 titles in our catalog are certified bestsellers. To successfully be in business for 11 years is no small feat and is a huge testament to the talent that every Inker has brought. I have so much gratitude for everyone who made this possible. Spent the last week of 2023 reflecting on the entire year. It’s been filled with so many proud achievements and has been a year of massive growth for Inkitt. I could share a laundry list of things to celebrate, but here are a few standouts: Ranked the #1 fastest-growing company in Germany in the Financial Times #FT1000 list. 🚀 We dove head first into #AI and shipped so many AI-powered features— the first ever Choose Your Own Narrator audiobook feature, Character chatbot, Graphic Novels, paragraph recap, troll prevention, and others. Celebrated a whopping 133 Galatea authors whose stories reached bestseller status. 🤩 Entered the show business with the launch of our very own streaming platform, GalateaTV, and signed Entertainment 360 to represent us. 🎬 Sold hundreds of premium, collectors edition books on Kickstarter. 📚 I’m so proud to be working alongside such a passionate team. Can’t wait to see what 2024 has in store for us!

Last week, the Inkitt team attended the 20Books Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. Our team members Jon (Nico) Altamirano, Zoe Tan, Marvin W. and Bethany Frank represented Inkitt, connected with aspiring writers and famous authors (including E.L. James, author of the global phenomenon 'Fifty Shades of Grey' series!) about the writing community, #booktok, and the future of AI and other technological advancements. Jon (Nico) Altamirano gave a presentation about Inkitt's unique Story Intelligence team, and enlightened everyone on where we're headed as a company and community for writers far and wide.
