At HRP Associates, Inc., we're committed to helping businesses meet their sustainability targets with a range of eco-friendly services. One of our key strategies comes through green remediation, which minimizes environmental footprints during cleanup actions by considering energy usage, renewables, emissions, and waste. And while there are a variety of ways to enact green remediation strategies, one standout approach is bioremediation, where we use naturally occurring, non-genetically modified microbial organisms, like our innovative Enviro-BAC, to facilitate the bioremediation of petroleum impacts. Developed in partnership with a leading microbial manufacturer, Enviro-BAC consists of Bacillus bacteria spores, effective in both oxygen-rich and oxygen-poor environments. This makes Enviro-BAC perfect for applications such as remediating soil and groundwater treatments of petroleum releases. Approved by regulatory agencies across the U.S., Enviro-BAC offers a sustainable solution for petroleum impacts and is currently being tested against emerging contaminants like the forever chemicals of PFAS, as well as microplastics. In the image, you'll see a couple of cups - one with some petroleum and the other after Enviro-BAC has done its work. You can learn more about Enviro-BAC by following the link below, and feel free to reach out to us to learn more about this product. https://lnkd.in/eeRhMK7T #Sustainability #GreenRemediation #Bioremediation #EnviroBAC #EcoFriendly #EnvironmentalImpact #HRPAssociates #AEC #AECindustry #Engineering #Environmental #Compliance #Geology #Consulting #PFAS #Environmental #Investigation

In honor of #WorldEnvironmentDay, we're excited to share a recap of our quarterly roadside cleanup efforts of the highway we've adopted just outside our Greenville office. We chose this road to adopt because of its location (located right behind Judson Mill where the Greenville, SC office is) and its slope, which can direct debris into Brushy Creek, a tributary of the Reedy River. By regularly picking up trash, we aim to prevent plastic, Styrofoam, and other waste from polluting the Reedy River, as well as keeping the roadway clean. This effort is an example of our culture at HRP Associates, Inc. - facilitating camaraderie amongst our staff while also aligning with our sustainability goals and our passion for the environment. World Environment Day is a call to action for the protection of our planet, and cleaning up our local environment has a positive impact on both our community and the world. By taking responsibility for our immediate surroundings, we contribute to a healthier planet, proving that small, consistent actions can lead to significant environmental benefits. https://lnkd.in/eZzpyWVX #WorldEnvironmentDay #AdoptAHighway #HRP #RoadsideCleanup #GreenvilleSC #SouthCarolina

For Jessica Eubanks, HRP’s new Corporate Health and Safety Officer, #NationalSafetyMonth is about more than double-checking regulatory compliance and ticking boxes: it’s an opportunity to raise awareness about preventing injuries and accidents in all aspects of life. From the workplace to home to on the road, the month is marked as a time to educate people about safety measures and promote a culture of safety-conscious behavior. That’s been Jessica’s focus throughout the majority of her career. And while she is only a couple of months into her position as HRP’s Corporate Health and Safety Officer, in a way, her journey to joining HRP started several years ago. “I come from a manufacturing background,” says Jessica. “I spent a portion of my career working in manufacturing dealing primarily with assembly operations. When I received my first hazardous waste certification, HRP’s Jackie Baxley was the one to sign off on the training. I had always been a fan of HRP Associates, Inc., and now I’m here working for them.” Jessica comes to HRP with over 15 years of environmental health and safety experience. Prior to joining HRP, her background had been primarily in manufacturing operations, mostly in the automotive field. “Health and Safety has always been my passion. At the first manufacturing facility I worked for, I started off as a production floor operator. When a position opened up in document control, which involved implementing procedures for the operators, I jumped at the opportunity. But that’s where my passion for safety started – on the production floor.” To learn more about Jessica, follow the link below! https://lnkd.in/ezWf8Nr2 #NationalSafetyMonth #CorporateHealthAndSafety #Safety #AEC #AECindustry #Engineering #Environmental #Compliance #Geology #Consulting
