  • According to the American Society of Nutrition, the relationship between nutrition and mental health is bidirectional: the foods we eat affect our mental health, and our mental health status affects what and how well we eat. A growing body of research points to the mental health benefits of a healthy diet. A healthy diet provides more vitamins and minerals, healthy fats, and fiber from fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts and seeds, which can reduce inflammation and alter neurotransmitters to reduce symptoms of depression. More info here: https://lnkd.in/gSaQze9N HHWC strongly believes in a holistic care approach, which is why we proudly offer mental health and medical nutrition services alongside primary care to our community. We're accepting new patients - give us a call to schedule your appointment at 307-387-9850.
