In a recent webinar Vincent Lohse compared the architectural nuances of RonDB and Redis. He shed light on a few of the characteristics of each platform and their performance in regards to data management. One aspect that sets the two apart is scalability. RonDB offers flexible scalability with selective in-memory and disk storage, making it ideal for managing large datasets efficiently. 💡 https://bit.ly/3VHgVdW

We had an amazing time at PyData London this weekend! 🎉 We connected with a fantastic community of data enthusiasts and had engaging conversations about all things data science and AI. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth to learn more about Hopsworks. Big thank you to our booth neighbours and friends Bytewax for making the event a blast! Looking forward to seeing everyone again next year!

Our research paper "The Hopsworks Feature Store for Machine Learning," is presented by Javier de la Rúa Martínez at SIGMOD’s industrial track today. The paper presents peer-reviewed benchmark results where Hopsworks was the class leading feature store, with an order of magnitude higher throughput and lower latency than Databricks, AWS Sagemaker, and GCP Vertex. 🔋 Want to read all of the highlights? Shoutout to all the participants and speakers at yesterday's AICamp ! Rik Van Bruggen and Fabio Buso explained how Hopsworks open-source real-time feature store platform streamlines the development and deployment of reliable AI systems Thaïs Denoyelle shared her passion for the Polars data analysis library, which is gaining attention for its high-speed data processing capabilities. Jean-François Macresy presented the Vikit (ex Videho) AI video generation software development kit. Subscribe to the beta test to build your custom video generators ! https://lnkd.in/eN4_3heN Faye Zhang from Pinterest discussed the common challenges of multi-modal LLM-based solutions for image understanding and shared available optimizations to address them. Thank you Hopsworks for co-organizing the event and datacraft for hosting us.

Helping the world Operationalise Machine Learning and AI in a meaningful, efficient, managed and effective way
I had such a great time talking to Maarten Sukel for our Hopsworks #5minuteinterviews. Maarten wrote a fantastic book (in Dutch) about the "AI Revolution" that focuses a lot on the societal impact of #ai and #ml - which I think is something we should all be thinking about. Highly recommend this episode and his book (https://lnkd.in/epBfAYt6) ! https://lnkd.in/eQMg6w2c

Thanks Clément Moutet and AICamp for organising a great #meetup in an amazing location downtown #paris yesterday. Lovely to share Fabio's journey to solve #stockholm commuter worries using Hopsworks #ai platform and Mistral AI's #llms... (and yeah, we even made the "pizzah situation" work, didn't we!)
