Yesterday, we honored former board member, Steve Hamline, with a room dedication ceremony at our Lee’s Summit campus. Stories of Steve’s legacy were shared by family, friends, and coworkers who were lucky enough to know him. Steve served on the Hope House Board of Directors from 1995-2001 and was instrumental during the capital campaign to build our Lee’s Summit campus. He was a devoted leader as Chairman of the Board, and was passionate about serving survivors of domestic violence. We are proud to name The Steve Hamline Community Room in his memory. We were grateful to be joined by JE Dunn Construction, whom Steve was employed by for 38 years, and Steve’s wife, Ramona, and sister, Lori, for this special dedication.
