    Vacancy Available: CFO – Silver City, NM The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the hospital and is responsible for all financial and accounting functions in accordance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations. The CFO provides leadership, financial oversight, and direction to ensure the overall financial well-being of the hospital. The CFO is an integral member of the senior leadership team and has overall responsibility for accounting and financial statements, budget process, risk management, accounts payable, revenue cycle including HIM, patient access and patient financial services, reimbursement, managed care contracting, Medicare cost report, materials management, information systems, and the year-end audit. This is a “hands on” CFO role with limited staff and it is expected that the CFO will have direct hands-on involvement with the accounting and revenue cycle teams. Qualifications: - A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles. Experience in or a very strong understanding of all the areas of responsibility described above. - CPA or master's degree is preferred. - 3 to 5 years of experience as CFO of a rural or small community hospital; Controller experience at a larger hospital could be considered. - Strong audit and accounting technical skills strongly preferred. - CAH experience preferred. - IT experience is ideal. - Ability to implement internal controls.     Vacancy Available: Cardiopulmonary Manager – Thermopolis, WY The Cardiopulmonary Manager will analyze all Cardiopulmonary services to ensure appropriateness, timeliness, and effectiveness of services rendered to patients. They will plan and delegate workflow to maintain the needs of the department. Responsible for presenting new ideas, approaches, or changes in the department which could improve the quality and/or efficiency of overall services. Assist and supervise Cardiopulmonary staff in performance of departmental procedures and provide necessary guidance and/or instruction for performance deficiencies noted. Effectively manages the human resources of the department including: ensures adequate staffing of positions, interviews, hires, reviews, coaches, promotes, transfers, and separates personnel; assures compliance with policies and procedures; provides actions that are firm, fair, objective, developmental, and timely. Qualifications: - Under general direction given by the CEO, the Director of Facilities Management has Licensed or credentialed in one or more areas of Cardiopulmonary, Sleep, or Nursing. - Must possess communication skills for patients, family, coworkers, medical staff, and public. - Demonstrate good organizational, managerial, and leadership abilities. - Valid Wyoming Driver’s License - Licensed by the State of Wyoming - Minimum 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred. - Computer skills necessary - ACLS, PALS, NRP required - Ability to act as a patient advocate and ability to interact with patients, families, visitors and co-workers. - Ability to interact assertively and tactfully when dealing with conflict and in group solving activities. - Ability to demonstrate a professional, open minded approach in identifying problems and resolving problems/conflicts. - Directly supervises one to three employees. - Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. - Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.     Vacancy available: Medical Staff Services Director We are looking for a Medical Staff Services Director for a hospital in Southwestern New Mexico. - Open to interim or permanent. - Onsite in Silver City, NM. (some remote work will be considered) The Medical Staff Services Director is responsible for leadership, management, and operational oversight of the medical staff support services that includes Medical Staff credentialing and privileging, peer review, provider payer enrollment, CME program management, maintenance of the Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations and policies, practitioner recruitment and retention, and meeting management, all within the requirements of the Medical Staff Bylaws, hospital organizational policies and regulatory agencies. They will supervise the staff and the daily operations of the Medical Staff Services Department, serve as a liaison between the Medical Staff and hospital Departments, and assist in interpreting Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, policies, procedures and services as relates to the Medical Staff. Qualifications: - Minimum bachelor’s degree or actively enrolled in a healthcare bachelor’s program. - Must obtain NAMSS CPCS certification within 18 months from hire date into position. - Extensive clinical background and familiarity with hospital practices, medical terminology, various patient diagnoses, levels of care, patient care areas, and medical records. - Skilled in the application of basic statistical processes, data analysis and reporting. - Proficiency with computer programs including word processing, and spreadsheets for the purpose of tracking occurrences and trends. - 3 years experience in Medical Staff - The ability to maintain confidentiality is imperative. - Ability to interact effectively with front line caregivers, practitioners, board members and administration. - Experience in credentialing and working with physician issues.
