Headworks' Factory employees are hard at work making our top-of-the-line MS Bar Screens. ⚒️🌊🔩 Headworks International leads the industry with our MS Bar Screen series. With our front-raked, front-return design with multiple rake bars, these wastewater screens have no solids carryover and facilitate an enclosure for odor control and hygiene enhancement. We want to thank RON BUEDE and Antonio Vega for taking charge of constructing our screens and managing a team of dedicated craftsmen. All MS Bar Screens are BABA-compliant and made in the USA! Is your company's wastewater suffering from varying large loads? Then get a quote on Headworks International's Perforator® Plate Screen!! Headworks' Perforator increases capture rates with fine openings. Standing perpendicular to the water channel, the Perforator Plate Screen captures waste and lifts the material to a discharge point, where our Dual-Surge spray header system removes it. With minimized screening carry-over, odor control, corrosion resistance, and our Multiplex Sealing System, Headworks' Perforator wastewater screen is the perfect tool for your industry's wastewater treatment. So, request a quote today! Read about our Perforated Plate Screen: https://lnkd.in/gDgxStiK #headworks #perforator #wastewater #environmental #BABAACompliance

Headworks International, Inc. at Central States Water Environment Association 2024 🌊♻️ At the recent CSWEA - Central States Water Environment Association Conference in Schaumburg, Illinois, Norris Wayne McCauley VP of our Mechanical Division, represented Headworks together with our amazing local reps of LAI-Ltd. For nearly 25 years, we've been working together and jointly executing numerous projects in Illinois & Wisconsin, from supplying small villages to the largest plant in the entire USA, the Stickney WWTP in Chicago. CSWEA's theme this year was "Flowing into the Future", making it the perfect place to talk about innovations in screening and MBBR/IFAS technology. Our process experts started an exciting week at the Innovations in Treatment Technology Conference. Siva Angappan, Somnath Basu, PhD, PE, MBA, BCEE #mbbr #ifas #anammox
Day 1 at the ITT (Innovations in Treatment Technology) conference included an excursion to the Nansemond WWTP operated by HRSD Utility (Hampton Road Sanitation District) in Virginia. Over the years, this utility became one of the world’s most renowned advanced wastewater treatment research centers. Various side stream and mainstream treatment systems were piloted, and several were subsequently integrated into the plant's operation. The Nansemond plant is presently in a major upgrade phase. One of the latest implementations executed through MEB Contractors involves Headworks. We provide the key MBBR components for the side stream treatment of centrate, using the PNA Anammox process. Additionally is HRSD operating the most impressive SWIFT (Sustainable Water Initiative for Tomorrow) facility, which is piloting a 1 MGD (3 800 m3/d) indirect potable reuse facility. The clean water is already injected into the aquafer. Although the volume is still very small, a reversing of the area surface subsidence is measurable. When fully operational at 35 MGD (133 000 m3/d), the area's surface should return to past levels within a few decades. #mbbr #ifas #anammox https://lnkd.in/guVKeGRS https://lnkd.in/gPZhHVKA https://meb.group/ https://lnkd.in/gWyeKFZ5
