Haugland Group LLC is reposting the latest Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) to call attention to the importance of workforce development for infrastructure modernization. While the American job market remains robust with low unemployment rates - the latest Job Opening and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS) report reveals that there are currently over 338,000 job vacancies in the construction industry and more than 337,000 in the transportation, utilities, and warehouse sectors. Exploring career paths involves taking a look under the hood. For this morning's Workforce Wednesday, Haugland Group LLC led by Michael Murillo, donated a pick-up truck to William Floyd High School in Mastic Beach, NY. Students in their Automotive Technology program can continue to get hands-on experience with all types of vehicles, allowing them to apply these skills to a career in the automotive repair industry.
