Depression, anxiety, and stress can all be reduced with regular exercise. Additionally, as people age, remaining active helps maintain strength, flexibility, and endurance. Research suggests that frequent moderate movement, such as brisk walking, can effectively promote psychological well-being. #harborhelps #wellnesswednesday #mentalhealth #wellness

Harbor reposted this
OhioMHAS Chief of Staff John Annarino reaffirmed Governor DeWine’s commitment to the mental health of Ohioans during the groundbreaking for Dani’s Place in Toledo, Ohio. Named in memory of Danielle “Dani” Leedy, who died by suicide in 2019, the mental health rehabilitation center will provide care to those leaving in-patient hospitalization, but not yet well enough to return to the community. Thanks to our partners at NAMI OHIO and Mental Health & Recovery Services Board of Lucas County for their work to bring this model of care to Northwest Ohio.
