On June 18, Suzette Russomanno will carry on the Jerry Hamilton/HMB legacy of winning the Mock Trial Challenge at the CHOPPED for CHOP fundraiser. “Chopped for CHOP (Children's Hospital of Philadelphia)” is a two-day educational program and conference highlighted by the much-touted mock trial challenge. Here, competitors in the “trial,” present their best case to a panel of judges made up of the world’s greatest claims executives and corporate counsel. The attorneys compete to win up to $20,000.00 in donations to CHOP. Our own Jerry Hamilton has been the CHOP champion for 2 years in a row and we look forward to the continuation of this winning streak. Jerry and Schuyler Analise Smith will be on hand to cheer on the “home team.” Good luck, Suzette!!!! #HMBLaw #TrialLawyers #HMBTrials

June is National Caribbean American month. We are proud of the fact that #HMBLaw, the largest black-owned law firm, was founded and is owned by a Caribbean American. The month was chosen to honor the arrival of the first documented Caribbean immigrants to the United States on June 2, 1898 at Ellis Island. The Caribbean is home to more than a dozen nations, including Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Haiti, Trinidad, the Dominican Republic and Cuba. Over the years, immigrants and their descendants from these regions have made their mark in American society and culture. Many of our #HMBLaw attorneys and staff have roots in the Caribbean and have greatly contributed to the growth and success of our firm. We recognize and thank them for their achievements. #CaribbeanAmericanMonth #TrialLawyers
