About us

MISSION STATEMENT We are a family of believers and lovers of God, here to equip God’s people to manifest Him, make Him known to the world around us, establish the Kingdom of God here on earth, and destroy the works of darkness. We believe that Ephesians 4:11-13 is the purpose of this church, that “the Body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.” Through the equipping, our hope is to present believers who will go out into the world doing as Jesus Christ has done and greater things (John 14:12). It is our desire that God establish and build this church and create disciples capable of walking in the fullness of Jesus Christ and capable of multiplying through the presentation of the Good News to a world seeking a Savior. God Manifest’s mission is to heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, heal the brokenhearted, set prisoners and captives free, and create disciples who will stand in love, walk in faith, and display God’s Son to the world. We Believe: - There is only one true and living God who is the King of kings, Creator and Lord of all. - He is perfect, holy, just, loving, good, full of mercy and truth. - He is One being in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. - The Bible is the God-breathed and the infallible, authoritative, living Word of God and that it declares His true design and plan for mankind. - Jesus Christ is the Son of God and was born of a virgin, lived among us as one of us but without sin and gave His life as a ransom for mankind and rose again on the 3rd day defeated death and all the power of the enemy so that we who recognize Him as Lord and Savior can live and reign through Him here on earth.

“I KNOW KUNG-FU!” 🥋 By: Jonnathan Truong After publishing the “Holy Yoga” post last year, I wasn’t surprised to receive much hate and see many “Christians” justify practicing yoga and their rebranded “Christianized” version of it with the misappropriation of scripture. The sad truth is that with martial arts and yoga, many will defend their right to practice them with more zeal and passion than they will defend their relationship with Jesus and living holy and righteous before God. Since the yoga post, many have asked me if practicing martial arts exposes the “martial artist” to the same measure of spiritual dangers as yoga. In short, the answer is an emphatic yes because of the religious origins of almost all martial arts. Growing up, like many Asian adolescents, I was obsessed with martial arts. I loved Bruce Lee, Jet Li, and Jackie Chan. I began studying and practicing its disciplines from the tender age of seven and renouncing its practice immediately after becoming Christian at age twenty-four. I sought the prestige and power of the “sport” while loving the discipline, its cultural history from Asia, and embracing its spiritual roots in Buddhism. Before becoming a Christian, I was a radical Buddhist who, in addition to practicing martial arts, also practiced and taught many other occult practices, from meditation to astral projection to the opening and utilizing the third eye—all to obtain inner peace, enlightenment, nirvana, power, and prestige. In an article titled “Religion and Martial Arts: Are They Inseparable?” published in Black Belt Magazine, a secular media source, Dr. Larry Dossey stated that “In the martial arts, religion has an equally important role. It was crucial in the historical development of many arts, and it continues to dictate the ways in which many students think and act during practice sessions … martial art grew from that spiritual tradition.” However, the Black Belt Magazine article eventually states that the physical and spiritual can be separated. I am telling you, as an expert, that the two cannot be separated. As someone who has over seventeen years of experience practicing and mastering Wing Chun (Yongchun), a style of kung-fu, a person who sparred and defeated many who practiced Karate and Taekwondo who were held third-, fourth-, and fifth-degree black belts, and as someone who was steeped deep in Buddhism, I can inform you without a doubt that that practice of martial arts is unequivocally a religious practice and, like yoga, it is impossible to separate the two. No matter how this article is received. Know this truth … People love to defend their mixture in the church. From martial arts and yoga to meditation and crystals, anything not originating from God to glorify God is evil. Everyone should not be “kung-fu fighting.” #jesus #yoga #christianyoga #holyyoga #witchcraft #astralprojection #thirdeye #brahma #shiva #vishnu #karate #wingchun #kungfu #taekwondo #blackbelt #brucelee #jetli #jackiechan

HOLY YOGA & CHRISTIAN YOGA? By Jonnathan Truong Let’s talk about a controversial topic for Christians. Yoga in the church! Growing up as a radical Buddhist, I taught many occult practices, experiences which now allow me, as a Christian, to quickly discern the occult from that which is truly holy and righteous. As a child, many Buddhist monks believed me to be a reincarnation of a Buddha from Tibet. They asked me to train people on many occult practices, such as opening third eyes, meditation, astral projection, keys to commanding demons, mind control, mind programming, and the cursing or charging of objects to impart demons into the possessor, among other wicked and occult things. Christian yoga, or Holy yoga, is crazy, dangerous, and idiotic for any Christian to practice. Amending anything, especially things meant to be the worship of other gods, with the title “Christian” or “Holy” doesn’t sanctify it. It's like saying Christian witchcraft, holy voodoo, Christian magic, or holy Halloween. The truth about yoga is that all forms, no matter how it's repackaged, are forms of idol worship, the worship of false gods and demons. If you ask true yogis, a master of the religion of yoga, they frequently scoff at the idea that Christians belittle their religious acts of worship by calling the religion of yoga "stretching" or "exercise." The word yoga comes from the Sanskrit root word “yug,” which literally means to yoke or unite. This union does not refer to the union of your fingers touching your toes or your nose touching your knees. Instead, each yoga pose is designed to create a yug (yoke or union) of the person who practices yoga with three distinct Hindu gods: brahma, shiva, and vishnu, the Hindu version of the holy trinity. The practice of yoga, no matter how you attempt to repackage, justify, or sanctify it, is 100% idol worship. The poses invite brahma, shiva, and vishnu to enter you, be yoked to you, and be unified with your soul (mind, will, and emotions) and your body (flesh). What I find sad and interesting is that most “Christians” who religiously practice yoga will defend their practice with more fervency and passion than their relationship with Jesus Christ. Ezekiel 44:23 NASB Moreover, they shall teach My people the difference between the holy and the profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean. 1 Peter 3:15 NASB But sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence. https://lnkd.in/g7AqJfyW SUBSCRIBE TO OUR YOUTUBE FOR LATEST VIDEOS AND SERMONS: https://lnkd.in/guixUTRi #jesus #yoga #christianyoga #holyyoga #witchcraft #astralprojection #thirdeye #brahma #shiva #vishnu
