For Zac Posen, Creative Director of Gap Inc. and Chief Creative Officer of Old Navy, showing up as your true, authentic self every single day helps collectively bridge gaps to create a better world. To kick off Pride celebrations and to ensure that we are supporting meaningful change in the communities we serve, Gap Inc. is donating to our community partner, The GenderCool Project – a youth-led movement helping to replace misinformed opinions on transgender and non-binary with positive experiences. Together, we can help bridge the inclusion gap as we work toward a more equitable future for the LGBTQ+ community. #GapInc

'Summering' in style? Yes please! Our new TV campaign is out just in time for warmer weather and features none other than Tracee Ellis Ross and Yara Shahidi, reunited for the first time since the Blackish series. The duo effortlessly showcase looks from our vibrant summer collection - Tracee in bold monochromatic coordinates and Yara in preppy sportswear. Whimsical creative, fashion and humor capture the experience of stepping into your happy place, and our new Chief Creative Officer Zac Posen says it best: “We wanted to draw viewers into a delightfully dramatic visual world inspired by the legendary photography of Slim Aarons. With their chic style and infectious spirit, our dynamic leading ladies personify the magic of summer that Old Navy is known for.” Keep an eye on your TVs, digital screens, and social feeds for more summer fun! #GapInc

Old Navy store teams across the US and Canada recently hosted their 15th Annual Kids Safety Event and Donation Drive and I’m incredibly proud of their results! The 3-day donation drive raised more than $1M for National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the Canadian Centre for Child Protection Inc. (C3P). I was fortunate enough to visit NCMEC’s Headquarters to learn more about the critical work they do. I am honored to be part of a company that helps support such an important organization. This year’s donations bring the total amount raised for these critical organizations since 2010 to over $9M. You can read more about this year's results below. https://lnkd.in/gM7a2kkE #gapinc

Across Gap Inc. and Old Navy, we've been celebrating Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month by taking a look at how authentic self-expression shapes identity and culture for our employees. Gokul Krishnan is the Head of Production at Old Navy and also the Co-Executive Sponsor of API@Gap Inc. As a South Indian immigrant who moved to the US in 2010, Gokul's personal and professional journeys in America have taught him first hand how powerful it can be to seek solutions that celebrate diversity. Gokul's advice? He encourages all of us, at Old Navy and beyond, to embrace and feel empowered by our own unique identities. #GapInc #APIMonth

Hi, Boys & Girls Clubs of America! Global Volunteer Month presented the perfect opportunity to show up for our long-standing community partner, from store teams to HQ. Two weeks ago, at our Upper Field Summit in Minneapolis, field leaders rallied to pack over 300 after school snack packs, benefitting youth of the Twin Cities chapter. And last week, HQ employees gathered to pack 500 hygiene kits that Bay Area youth will be able to take to summer camp. We're celebrating 30 years of partnership with BGCA this year, and the organization has been a huge proponent of our opportunity efforts and programming. Coming together to volunteer time where we know it makes an impact always feels good. Stay tuned for more highlights from Global Volunteer Month at Old Navy!

The Gap Inc. 2023 ESG Report is now available, and the impact of our This Way ONward program is one of the highlights! Check out the below from President and CEO Horacio Barbeito. #gapinc

    President & CEO, Old Navy

Today Gap Inc. released the company's 2023 ESG Report, detailing company progress toward building a more sustainable and inclusive business. One of the report highlights is Old Navy's This Way ONward program, which fuels the next generation of leaders with the skills and confidence they need to succeed in the workplace.   Old Navy is one of America’s largest employers of entry level jobs and we believe that retail teaches valuable skills. Creating opportunity in the communities we serve is something I am very passionate about, and I'm truly inspired by the impact this program has driven. And we're tracking toward our 2025 commitments - over 19,600 youth have participated in the This Way ONward program (since 2007), and in 2023, 4.3% of all new entry level employees at Old Navy were This Way ONward alums.   This is how we make a difference in retail. Check out the video below for a snapshot on This Way ONward in our stores and beyond, and read more about the 2023 Gap Inc. ESG Report at gapinc.com/values. #retail #gapinc #oldnavy

Another successful Upper Field Summit for our store leaders wrapped up last week - who else is excited for the rest of 2024?! #gapinc #retail

Last week, our Old Navy Upper Field leaders came together in Minneapolis, MN to connect with one another and talk about the year ahead. The energy and engagement over the three days was amazing! The team learned new skills and then rolled their sleeves up to bring those learnings to life in some of the local stores. A big thank you to everyone responsible for planning and executing such a great event, and to the local store leaders and teams for hosting the in-store working sessions.   I’m incredibly proud of this team and I look forward to what we’re going to do together as a brand this year! #ONstylesolved

To close out Women’s History Month, our Chief People Officer, Amy Thompson, led a panel of female leaders from Gap, Old Navy, and Athleta to discuss their career journeys, mentorship, inclusive leadership, and what it means to truly practice self-advocacy. At Gap Inc., supporting and uplifting women is a big part of our heritage and we know that prioritizing moments like these are critical to building a culture of mattering -- to our teams, our customers and the communities we serve. #GapInc #WomensHistoryMonth
