Prosperity, power, and progress -- the themes of Hispanic Heritage Month 2023 invite us to celebrate the advancement of Hispanic and Latine/x people and communities in the US with roots in Spanish-speaking countries in the Caribbean, Central and South America, Mexico, and Spain. It is a time to challenge stereotypes and biases while amplifying those voices, histories, cultures, and contributions. Proud to share my doctoral capstone work with the community! 🎉 I am grateful for the support offered by faculty and friends in the Boston University Sargent College OTD program, with an extra thank you to Leanne Yinusa-Nyahkoon, my academic mentor, and Lilian Wang, my peer mentor. I am lucky to have worked with three incredible people at Camp Galileo who provided ample emotional support along the way—my site mentor, Pamela Briskman, my regional manager, Hope Adams, and my colleague in DEIB work, Marina Misculin, Ed.M..
