Nuclavis is right! We can't recommend this documentary enough. For anyone who hasn't watched it, take some time this weekend to check it out: https://lnkd.in/erq3fXjU
Our team recently got together to watch the #UncharitableMovie, and it was eye-opening! 👀 Many of us at Nuclavis have worked in nonprofit roles that would fall under "overhead" - administrative, technological, or fundraising roles. We work daily with clients in these roles. And while it is well-intentioned for donors to want the dollars they donate to go "only to the mission," it is important to understand that no organization can operate without "overhead." No mission can be fulfilled without a staff of devoted (often underpaid) workers, without technology, strategy, and structure, or without advertising and marketing. While we encourage donors to do their due diligence to understand how their dollars will be spent, we trust that the vast majority of nonprofit organizations will be responsible stewards of donor dollars. Have you seen the movie? What did you think? Comment below 👇 #iamoverhead #teambuilding

Modern donors want the giving process to be as simple as anything else online. Luckily, improving their experience doesn’t mean a complete overhaul to your website. With these two easy changes, you’ll see an unmistakable bump in donations! Learn how to improve donation conversions here: https://hubs.ly/Q02ymScQ0

“How much would 25% more donors (at minimum) impact your organization?” - Michael Longenecker Check out this great discourse on the importance of a fundraising solution’s growth and impact enablement vs. transaction fees. When it comes to online giving platforms, it all comes down to conversion.
Co-founder | Strategic partner | Builder and scaler of strong teams supporting nonprofits and campaigns
Transaction fees don't matter a lot, actually. When you are evaluating donation platforms the most important consideration is which one nets you out the most money. Forms can have wildly different conversion rates. I've tested platforms and seen a 20% difference in one-time donations. That means 20% less money, before you get into other deltas like post-donation upsells, the ability to let donors cover transaction fees (for nonprofits), data integrations, recurring features, donor support staff, and more. Even if you are paying .07% more or 4% more on transaction fees, if the forms are converting 20% better, 20 is bigger than 4. That's why it is so fundamental to test the forms. Run an A/B test, over several months if you have a smaller program and it takes a while to get to significance. That is indeed exactly what NGPVAN is recommending with their new product, which seems to be a revamp of their existing forms. While I am skeptical they will win out tests vs ActBlue, folks should pit them head to head, especially for finance forms. Competition in the space is good. It's great to see NGPVAN investing in their product more and hopefully driving innovation. https://lnkd.in/g4bbHPbs

Look at those giving season donation numbers 😍 The Canadian Red Cross (CRC) had ambitious plans to modernize its digital fundraising approach, but a hard-to-use donor platform limited its potential. Since switching to Fundraise Up, CRC’s first campaign on our platform saw historic fundraising results! Read the incredible case study here: https://hubs.ly/Q02zxKR30

Save the laptops! We're always thrilled to hear about another nonprofit ditching the 🦕 donation form. Click here to learn about our ~ evolved ~ donation forms: https://lnkd.in/gNFWTYpp
"Our fundraising page just got a turbo boost!" - Client who just installed Fundraise Up. Remember those clunky, prehistoric donation forms that made you want to hurl your laptop out the window? 🦕 Our client just ditched one of those. We recently started partnering with Fundraise Up, and I couldn’t be more excited. Their fundraising modules are so slick and user-friendly that I can’t wait to track conversion rates. If you're still stuck with a donation page that looks like it was built in the Stone Age, do yourself (and your donors) a favor: visit FundraiseUp's website to learn more. Your fundraising goals (and your sanity) will thank you. 😉 #DonorLove #FundraisingWin #TechForGood #FundraisingSoftware #NonprofitTech #FundraiseUp #nonprofit #fundraising https://fundraiseup.com/
