🏆 FOX Sports wins big at the Hashtag Sports Awards! Congratulations to the FOX Sports Digital Team, FOX Soccer, Bear Bets Pod and all the 2024 honorees! 

Over Memorial Day weekend, FOX remembered those who made the ultimate sacrifice and honored all who have served through our support of USO, LA Fleet Week Foundation, West Los Angeles Veterans Affairs and U.S.VETS programs. Check out below all the different activities FOX supported over the holiday weekend. ⬇️ 🌴 FOX welcomed Service Members participating in L.A. Fleet Week activities to the FOX Studio Lot for a guided tour, highlighted by a visit to the FOX Sports Studios, and an All-American BBQ lunch. ⏲️ FOX Entertainment presented the Galley Wars Cooking Competition. This year’s contest featured competing service branches: Navy vs. Marines vs. Coast Guard vs. Army. The Coast Guard took the win for the second year in a row! 🏆 FOX Sports hosted LA Fleet Week’s Dodgeball Tournament, where members of the U.S. Navy, Army, Marine Corps and Coast Guard competed in a friendly competition for the winning title. The final round placed the “Army Desert Donkeys” against the “Navy Body Shots.” The “Army Desert Donkeys,” took home the champion title of the 2024 LAFW dodgeball tournament. 🍽️ In honor of Memorial Day, the FOX team served a barbeque lunch to over 600 veterans at the Veterans Affairs Campus in West Los Angeles. ⚓️ FOX once again supported USO and New York City’s Fleet Week events over the Memorial Day weekend. In addition to supporting the Parade of Ships event, a group of FOX volunteers staffed the USO Pop Up Center on the USS Bataan which was docked at Pier 88. Over 800 sailors were served through the pop-up shop. 🎯 FOX partnered with U.S.VETS as the presenting sponsor for their Memorial Day Service activations at the Hawaii, Washington D.C., Houston, West LA and Inglewood locations. Over 750 veterans and their families enjoyed meals, games, and entertainment. Members of our FOX family joined to volunteer and support our nation's heroes. 👟 FOX also supported U.S.VETS’ Steps through sponsoring four Vets 5k races in Phoenix, Houston, Long Beach, and Inglewood. The races help shine a light on their mission to eradicate veteran homelessness in the United States.

🎬 As part of our FOX For Students initiative FOX provided funding and input for the Roybal Film and Television Magnet in Los Angeles students' senior Spring 2024 Capstone Project. The project resulted in a 17-minute documentary film examining the topic of drug abuse and usage within their community from an equity perspective. Last week FOX welcomed Roybal staff, students and their loved ones, along with members of Young Moviemakers of America (YMA) to the Studio Lot for an exclusive screening of the senior class's documentary. A huge thank you to every FOX employee involved in helping create these unique experiences are invaluable to Roybal students.

🏆 Congratulations to FOX Sports' three award wins and two Silver and Gold Circle honors at last night’s 45th Annual Sports Emmy Awards. FOX NFL Analyst Greg Olsen was honored for “Outstanding Personality – Event Analyst,” FOX MLB’s coverage of the ALCS between the Houston Astros and the Texas Rangers was honored for “Outstanding Playoff Coverage,” and FOX NASCAR was honored for “Outstanding Audio/Sound – Live Event.” FOX NFL Reporter Pam Oliver and former FOX Sports Lead Producer Bob Stenner were celebrated for their induction into the Sports Emmys 2024 Silver and Gold Circles.

🎙️Live from Studio One on the FOX Studio Lot in Los Angeles, FOX Sports and Fox Corporation hosted a panel conversation about the Create the Space mental health initiative with nonprofit partner Common Goal in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month.    ⚽️ The panel was hosted by FOX Sports Reporter and Host Jenny Taft and featured two of the brightest stars in women’s soccer, U.S. Women’s National Team and San Diego Wave FC defender Naomi Girma and Angel City FC forward Messiah Bright. It covered the players’ involvement with Create the Space and the importance of prioritizing mental wellbeing alongside physical fitness at every level of the sport.    ⚽️ Following the panel, FOX Sports match analyst and former U.S. Men’s National Team star Stu Holden and legendary defender and new studio analyst Giorgio Chiellini joined Taft, Girma and Bright at an impactful soccer-themed event for Los Angeles youth. The event convened young athletes from six local soccer-based nonprofit organizations who participated in an array of mental wellness activities, skills trainings and friendly competition.
