During this week’s Business Development & Marketing Team huddle, we chimed in with our take on a fresh and innovative idea for memory care facilities that allows both the patient and the spouse/caregiver to stay together. It’s natural to do it. As we interface with the market sectors we serve, we think about our own future. Will we go to a memory care facility? Will our spouse? Will our parents…? In preparation for this post, and in light of what someone shared in our meeting, curiosity piqued regarding the early symptoms for memory loss. Alzheimer's Association®’s list of ten made us go 😮 Research, communication, collaboration, and then sharing our thought-leadership is nothing new for Forum Architecture and Interior Design Inc. We do this all the time on projects and in our conversations with clients or consultants. But we have recently launched a fresh way for you to receive our expertise. Reach out to our Business Development Director, Michelle Rademacher, for exclusive access to Forum Thought Leadership. #seniorliving #design #environments #memorycare #thoughtleadership #FORUM

You may think you’ve just hit mile marker zero in the Florida Keys but you haven’t! This Key West inspired property is Pembroke Pines Assisted Living and Memory Care, a resort-style senior living community on the east coast of Florida in Pembroke Pines. Market-rate and for profit, the development houses 81 assisted living and 40 memory care apartments using block and reinforced concrete slab construction. Our architecture team designed a plethora of amenity spaces to keep residents engaged including a library, bar, bistro, fitness/physical therapy, AL dining and private dining, activity rooms on multiple floors, theater, salon, AL/MC courtyards and screened patios, MC dining and servery, MC living room, and MC sunroom. Well done Forum Architecture and Interior Design Inc and Providence One Partners! #architecture #seniorliving #assistedliving #memorycare #FORUM

The spotlight is on Jason Rieb, Construction Specialist here at Forum. Jason is responsible for reviewing product literature from the contractor for items they are proposing to use in the construction of a project. He also attends site visits to verify the contractor’s conformity to the construction documents. Jason started college wishing to become a mechanical engineer, however, he didn’t realize how much math was involved. He then found a track that was still design related, but with a little less math! Enter the wonderful world of Architecture. Jason received his Bachelors of Architecture and Environmental Design from North Dakota State University. Jason has been happily employed at Forum for the past 5 1/2 years. When Jason is not wearing his hard hat or reviewing construction documents, he loves spending time with family and friends around the pool, lake or boating. He also enjoys movie nights and watching all the birds and wild life around the lake. His hobbies include golfing, riding motorcycles, boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, archery, shooting, making Moonshine, cooking, and volunteering with the Altamonte Springs Rotary. Jason is a busy man and we are lucky to have his expertise on our projects! #EmployeeOwner #constructionspecialist #ForumFamily

What do you think of when you hear “Kissimmee?” Possibly, there’s only one letter that doesn’t repeat. 🤔 Or you might think of the neighboring theme-parks… But locals know it as a city that offers an adorable downtown with plenty of nature to make Central Floridians happy! Today we’re featuring a recent project, Ezelle ~ a luxury apartment community that feels more like a resort and befitting of beautiful Osceola County! #architecture #multifamily #apartments #designexperts #FORUM

It’s the last day of May, so that means 99% of college students are moved out of their dorms for the Summer! Ok, we made up that percentage… but here’s what we do know: Some of the most well-used spaces in student housing are the posh amenity spaces that we’re accustom to designing for our developer clients! Take for example, at Union on Frank for Greystar - we designed a podcast room for all the future social media influencers at the The University of Alabama. 😎 It’s less about a trend for interior design and knowing how to stand out among the many student housing projects available for future residents to choose where to build community for their college career. Today, we raise a glass to all graduates of 2024 and their parents, teachers, friends, and local community for their support of the next generation! We believe their future is bright. 🌞 #studenthousing #trends #interiordesign #podcast #FORUM

When our architecture and interior design teams work together, we create beauty! The Aston at Town Center in Jacksonville, Florida features an elevated architectural aesthetic of earthy greens and inviting warm tones blended with the brick facades and black iron; a complimentary style for the area. “Working with our own ID team allowed for a more seamless design process resulting in a superior end product.” ~ Lance Burguiere, Architect Eastwind Development FaverGray #architect #interiordesign #multifamily #apartments #teamwork https://lnkd.in/eFR_m4ud

Like a posh boutique hotel, The Watermark at Coral Gables in South Florida elevates the typical perception of senior living. Luxury amenities and upgraded apartment finishes call for an equally impressive model apartment experience; designed to complement the flavor of the property and meet prospective resident expectations. Rich, subdued color reads sophisticated and pairs perfectly with the fine furnishings, textures, art, and accessories – simply refreshing, simply beautiful. Kudos to Becky Trybus CHID EDAC RID IIDA and team for delivering a beautiful design that seniors will love to call home. #interiordesign #seniorliving #assisstedliving #memorycare
