🌿 For this #WorldEnvironmentDay, we're excited to shine a spotlight on our amazing employees around the world who continue to invest in their sites and communities to promote environmental conservation, protection, and education. 🌎 During this year’s annual #EarthDay challenge, 35,600 employees across the world supported 93 non-profits, planted 22,700 trees, and reforested over 296,000 square meters of land. To showcase the sites that have gone above and beyond, we've named six challenge winners and some of their activities: ✨ In Jaguariúna, Brazil, our team participated in many impactful activities within their local community, such as building vertical gardens, donating 10,000 tree seeds, and the collection of two tons of waste. 🌊 In Chennai, India, our employees cleared plastic waste from rainwater ponds and committed to reducing single-use plastics. They also upgraded to energy-efficient systems on-site. 🌳 Timisoara, Romania participated in an inspiring Oxygen Planting Festival, reforesting 25,000 square meters with 15,000 new trees. 🌱 In Reynosa, Mexico (MCi, A Flex Company), 100% of employees participated in educational initiatives and planting workshops. They supported local nonprofits by donating time and supplies, recycling 16.8 kilograms of bottles. 🌿 In Bengaluru, India, our team reforested over 2,000 square meters with new saplings and held creative sustainability campaigns, including an upcycled art competition. 🌼 In Venray, Netherlands, employees united to clean up their community, and also showed appreciation for each other, and gifted each other chocolate bars in seed paper to plant at home.
