Last week, we celebrated another year of impact at FamilyForward! 🎊    Our annual FamilyForward Day brings team members from across the agency together for a fun celebration and team building. Amid the work, we like to take a moment to pause, reflect, and appreciate the passion and dedication our team brings to supporting families.    Thank you to Grant's Farm for hosting us and to our committee for organizing the fun day. Sharing an exciting development taking place FamilyForward. We are in Phase 1: Building a Sensory Path for the children & families we serve at our Developmental Trauma Campus HQ. It will be a beautiful, visible, permanent installment on our campus that will continue to grow even more over time. Today, we commemorate Juneteenth, the anniversary date of when all enslaved persons in the United States gained their freedom. As an agency, we are wholeheartedly committed to playing our part in advancing equity and justice. On this day, we reflect on the resilience of the ancestors who faced inhumanity and celebrate the remarkable contributions of Black Americans to our society. We hope that today, and every day, serves as a reminder for all to actively support Black Americans in our community, fostering inclusivity and understanding. ❤️💛🖤💚

Last month, Associate Director of Quality and Compliance Annie Herz celebrated an amazing fifteen years at FamilyForward! 👏 Annie started at the agency pre-merger at the Family Resource Center as an Intake Coordinator. She then moved to the Quality and Compliance team post-merger in 2020. Like our value of being Out Front, she enjoys being part of an innovative team that enhances support for staff working with children and families by improving processes and developing trauma prevention and treatment tools. She is inspired by the quality improvement and creativity across all departments, which helps the agency better serve families. Thank you, Annie, for your contributions to the agency and your dedication to our families. We are thrilled to celebrate your 15 years here and can’t wait for many more!
