My client has a part-time Sr. Accountant who is going on maternity leave at the beginning of July, and we are helping them find temporary coverage while she is out. The role will last about 8 weeks, and the employee will work 100% onsite at their offices three days weekly. Primary responsibilities will include: journal entries, general ledger (assets, appreciation, expenses), deposits, A/R and billing, month-end and weekly reporting, and payroll for approximately 150 salaried and hourly employees (timesheet audits, new/terminated employee updates, deductions, garnishments, etc.). Qualified candidates will have experience in both accounting and payroll responsibilities. Experience in an accounting ERP system or QuickBooks will be required, although experience in Sage is a huge plus.
