Last week, staff and council attended an open house to see the new Papé Material Handling building located at 1975 Arnold Industrial Way. Papé Material Handling offers top-of-the-line equipment such as fork lifts and aerial platforms, as well as in-house service for equipment. Papé was previously located at 210 Mason Circle in a 17,000 square foot building, and needed more space to service their customers. The new building is over 30,000 square feet featuring a sales lobby, warehouse, parts department and service bays to work on equipment. The higher ceilings and multiple entry points to the service bays allow for larger equipment, up to five tons, to be safely serviced indoors. The company also invested in touchscreen technology to provide an interactive learning environment for the team in the training rooms. Papé Materials Handling has been in business for 85 years and currently operate 150 locations across nine states with over 4,500 employees. The Concord location currently has 26 team members and will be adding more soon. To learn more about Papé Materials Handling and services at the Concord location, visit their website at https://lnkd.in/gBfTSS5N

On Tuesday, the City of Concord joined the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of Two Men and a Truck, a woman-owned franchise specializing in professional moving services for both residential and business needs. Their movers undergo extensive hands-on training to ensure they provide quality service and care for their customer's belongings. Inside the warehouse, movers learn how to properly pack and wrap furniture, as well as practice moving items through and around doors and walls to learn how to maneuver each item with ease. The Two Men and a Truck team is dedicated to providing a positive and stress-free moving experience, which is demonstrated through their core value of THE GRANDMA RULE® - to treat customers as they would their own grandmothers. Moving services are available Monday through Saturday. To learn more about available services and request a quote, visit their website at https://lnkd.in/gZ_RMUdw
