Position will oversee the Corporate FP&A function to include: budgeting and forecasting, reporting and analysis of financial operations, and implementation of financial planning and reporting systems. The main function will be to ensure accurate and timely payments of a high volume of invoices, assist vendors and accounting team with their inquiries, maintain vendor file, reconcile AP vendor accounts and related. Our client, a $60M PE backed food manufacturer/distributor in Winchester, VA seeks a talented Plant Controller to take ownership of the accounting operations of the newly constructed plant. The role will manage all the accounting functions of the plant to include cost / inventory accounting, AP/AR, Month and Year End Close and the development of internal control policies and procedures. It will manage one A/R and one A/P staff. Must have experience in manufacturing, CPG industry, particularly food and beverage is highly preferable. High potential to move into a corporate Controller role. It will be remote the first 6 months, then in office thereafter. Compensation is $140K-$145K+15% bonus.
