⭐️You can start with a dream! ⭐️ Edna Martinson, co-founder of Boddle Learning, moved to Tulsa in August 2020, saying she was inspired by the people she met during visits and “not only the history, but what is being done to rebuild in Tulsa, especially around resources for Black entrepreneurs.” At the start, Boddle Learning attracted 2,000 users. A boom happened for the platform during COVID-19 pandemic as many educators were looking for a tool that could help them teach their students remotely. Martinson quit her full-time job as demand would grow to 50,000 users in 2020. From there, the platform has skyrocketed. Through her connection with Build in Tulsa, Edna and her husband and co-founder Clarence Tan completed ACT Tulsa, received an investment from Lightship Capital. Boddle was also one of Build in Tulsa's entrepreneurs in residence, receiving free desk space and other resources. Edna has gone on to be featured in Forbes 30 under 30, and received $100K from Google for Startups fund. Congratulations to Edna and Boddle Learning for all of the work they have done.
