Bridge Investments was thrilled to gather yesterday with an exceptional group of our Founders, LPs, and friends for our Annual Meeting and Celebration. We spent a delightful evening together in Chicago, discussing💡 founder insights,📈 fund performance, and 📊 market developments from the past year. Our hosts Jason Thomas, Connor Ryan, and Daniel Goldberg kicked off the evening speaking about Bridge’s approach to investing, our fund performance to date, our take on the current VC market, and of course our rockstar portfolio companies. Jason Thomas closed the night guiding a panel with three of our incredible founders, Alex Kerr, Matt Spiegel, and Jon Carter, discussing perspectives on the next phase of developments in 💿 vertical software. Thank you so much for those who were able to join last night and to all who make what we do possible. We are so thankful for this community that brings big ideas to life and are excited for the year ahead!

Thrilled to welcome Rainwalk Technology to the Bridge Investments portfolio! Joshua Snead and team are changing the way people buy and use pet insurance and we're excited to be a small part of the journey alongside great investors like ManchesterStory, Insurtech Gateway, and Seaplane Ventures.

Yesterday I had the honor of co-leading the Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management's Chicago VC Trek alongside Hadley Harrison. We had the privilege of learning from leading VC firms like Bridge Investments, Chingona Ventures, Motivate Venture Capital, Cleveland Avenue, Bluestein Ventures, Hyde Park Venture Partners, Lightbank, Origin Ventures, S2G Ventures, Moderne Ventures, and Alumni Ventures. Our discussions covered topics such as differentiation in deal processes and innovative ways to spot promising founders. We talked about firm differentiation, the current investing and fundraising environment, the future of the industry, and the changing dynamics, among other subjects. This experience broadened our understanding of both the current and future outlook of venture capital.   I would like to thank the investors who shared their knowledge and experiences with us. A special thanks to Connor Ryan, Peri Ehlman, Courtney Trunk, Fernando Carranza, Amira Khatib, Allison Lechnir, Carter R., Parker Lyman, Jason Heltzer, Mike Wise, Dylan Ketcham, Lucas Pasch, and others who participated. Their valuable input provided all of us with deeper insights into the current venture capital scene.   The trek reinforced my belief in the strength and potential of the Chicago VC and entrepreneurship community. It showcased a commitment to innovation and strategic investment that promises significant growth for startups. My passion for the industry's potential is even stronger now. It was an honor to plan and participate in such an experience, and I look forward to further engaging with and contributing to this dynamic community!

With major thanks to Mindset Ventures and Brex, Priori had its 10 minutes (ehem, maybe 10 seconds) of fame this week in Times Square. We had to time it exactly right to get our photo, so my personal favorite snap is the second when we all realized Priori was up on the big screen and we had only a few seconds to get the posed picture.
