ICYMI: The Connecticut Stormwater Quality Manual was enacted earlier this year. The regulations in this manual apply to post-construction stormwater controls for new developments, redevelopments, and upgrades to existing developments, such as retrofits. The new guidelines can significantly impact project costs if not strategically implemented. Here’s what development teams need to know to stay compliant and strategize stormwater management design moving forward ⬇️

Our team had a great time at the recent NAIOP I.CON East conference in Jersey City, where Brad Bohler joined a panel on supply chain resilience. Here are his key takeaways: ⏺️Disruptions are a spectrum – plan with coordination, collaboration, and communication. ⏺️Build resilience from the start with strong investor backing, conservative leverage, flexible design, and robust insurance. ⏺️Customer demand for secure inventory post-COVID-19 is reshaping industrial design needs. We must future-proof our industrial sites to enhance resilience and ensure long-term viability for businesses and communities. We're reflecting on another incredible #ICSCLasVegas! From networking parties to insightful meetings, this year's event radiated excitement and optimism for the future of #retail. Here are three key takeaways from some of our experts: ✅Retail Resilience: Despite digital trends, brick-and-mortar retail is thriving as community hubs and experiential spaces. The industry's bullish outlook confirms that shopping destinations are here to stay. ✅Booming Single-Family Housing: The surge in single-family housing is revitalizing retail, blending stores with residential, dining, and entertainment. Families moving into new neighborhoods drive demand for local services, breathing new life into retail spaces. ✅Strategic Market Positioning: The anticipation of post-election capital movement is shaping the retail landscape. Developers are preparing for a surge in investment, while new client acquisitions in markets like Florida present exciting opportunities. We look forward to helping our clients navigate the market and achieve their goals as we continue to see innovation and growth in this dynamic sector. #Retail #ICSC2024 #MarketTrends

The current NPDES PAG-02 General Permit issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) will expire on December 7, 2024. Existing permits will need to be either renewed or terminated before that date to remain in compliance. In addition, PADEP is proposing several changes for new NPDES General Permit submissions. Here is a summary of some of the changes that will have the biggest impact on land development projects. https://lnkd.in/e4du_7EE
