Recalls are an opportunity. However, the way we deal with recalls makes it a burden. You send a recall notification via mail. You re-send a recall notification via mail. You re-re-send a recall notification via mail. You hear nothing. I think it's time to change the approach. I wanted to create a recall experience that was simple, efficient, and easy. 1- You send the recall notification via email or text. 2- The customer can book an appointment via the notification 3- The customer simply comes into the dealership and completes the recall. The simple step of emailing/texting vs. sending direct mail has improved recall completions not just in my own dealership but in all my clients.
