  • Today, we published our interim report for the second quarter of 2024/25 and are pleased to confirm that our performance is consistent with both our strategic plans and expectations. While the EMEA region and the Americas generated positive revenue growth year-on-year, group revenue was 1% lower due to negative growth in China. Our gross margin increased year-on-year to 53.7% and our directed share issue was successfully completed in November 2024 as planned, raising DKK 228 million in gross proceeds. Our CEO,  Kristian Tear,  commented on the results: “Our financial year 2024/25 is a transition year, and the second quarter was in line with our expectations and plans…Demand for our newly launched flagship headphones, Beoplay H100, exceeded expectations, confirming our strategic direction of strengthening our position in the luxury audio market.     Today, we released our interim report for the first quarter of 2024/25. We are pleased to report a first quarter that aligns with our plans and expectations. While we experienced a 12% decline in revenue, this was primarily due to a strong comparable first quarter last year, driven by heightened demand ahead of a planned price increase. We achieved a record-high gross margin of 55.2%, reflecting our ongoing efforts to strengthen the company’s financial foundation and positioning us well for future growth. Our CEO Kristian Tear commented on the results and the road ahead for Bang & Olufsen: “…We continued to execute our strategic priorities with a particular focus on increasing global brand awareness, optimizing the retail network and creating world-class products. We recently launched our new flagship headphones Beoplay H100 and are delighted to see that they are off to a good start. Simultaneously, we have worked to prepare the acceleration of our strategy execution in order to make the value-creating investments to realise our mid-term growth plan.
