On Memorial Day 2024, we remember America’s fallen servicemen and women with a visit to the Korean War Memorial in our hometown of Worcester, Massachusetts. The memorial, located at the corner of Front and Foster Streets near Washington Square, honors the 191 young soldiers from Worcester County who gave their lives in the Korean War. The site features a bronze statue of an American GI and a Korean child, symbolizing bright prospects for the future of Korea and an enduring friendship between nations.
